Select Board grants used-car license, two liquor permits; backs Cranberry Manor II housing

WAREHAM — Select Board unanimously approves three license applications and housing support. Chair Judith Whiteside, Clerk Sarah Corbitt, and members Jared Chadwick, Marcus Gomes, and Joseph Still granted a Class II Used Car Dealer's License to V8 Group Motors LLC at 3090 Cranberry Highway with restrictions on hours, parking, and storage; approved a transfer of the Annual All Alcoholic Beverages Package Store License to BRTRAI, Inc., d/b/a Mayflower Liquors at 3150 Cranberry Highway with amended operating hours; and approved officer and ownership changes for DSKRAI, Inc., d/b/a Browne's Package Store at 189 Marion Road. The board also unanimously voted to authorize Chair Whiteside to send a letter of support for NeighborWorks Housing Solutions' Cranberry Manor II, a 40-unit affordable senior housing development at 2220 Cranberry Highway, and accepted a $200 donation from Gail Pina Dorsey to the Council on Aging.
