WAREHAM — The Carver-Marion Wareham Regional Refuse Disposal District Committee unanimously approved November and December financial statements and authorized Executive Director Jeffrey Osuch to solicit attorney proposals. The district's PARS/OPEB portfolio stands at $1,124,361.89 as of December 31, 2025, with four certificates of deposit renewed in January at 3.71 percent. Committee Chair John Cotter directed staff to contact potential attorneys Peter Teitelbaum and Elizabeth Lydon to oversee dissolution and the sale of the Route 28 Transfer Station property, which ceases operations December 31, 2026.
The board unanimously approved renewal of the Zoom account for $160 to $170 annually.
