Select Board approves licenses, permits, and town meeting warrant articles.

Select Board · Meeting of March 31, 2026

Wareham Select Board approves seasonal licenses and special event permits; defers budget articles. Chair Judith Whiteside and the board unanimously appointed Elizabeth Arone as an Associate Member to the Zoning Board of Appeals and approved a new Common Victualler License for Taco Bell #42080 operating 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. The board approved one-day liquor permits for two summer events at Besse Park and Warren's Harborview Restaurant, with votes of 4 to 1, and recommended favorable action on most articles for the 2026 Spring Annual Town Meeting, though Article 19, a zoning bylaw change, failed 1 to 3.

Articles 6-10 regarding the town budget were deferred pending approval; The Pour Farm Tavern's entertainment license hearing was continued for a fourth time after the applicant reported no outreach to a neighboring objector. ===BRIEF===
