Select Board approves bakery, auto dealer licenses
Select Board · Meeting of September 1, 2026
Wareham Select Board unanimously approves two business licenses and two committee appointments. Town Administrator Sullivan told the board Congressman Bill Keating's office secured more than $1 million in community project funding for phase two of the sewer project, calling it "relief for our sewer users." The board approved a Class II used car dealer's license for Eliot Youssef's EY Auto Center Inc., d/b/a 28 Auto Clinic, at 2888 Cranberry Highway, limited to four vehicles, and an annual common victualler license for Joann West's JoJo's Bakery LLC, pending inspections. Resident Sandy Slavin of Precinct 3 pressed the board on its practice of limiting public comment to Wareham residents and warned that removing vegetation on the Onset Bluff "is not up to a resident to decide." The board also appointed William Scott Parr to the Conservation Commission and reappointed Walter Paster to the Little Harbor Golf Advisory Committee, both by 5-0 votes.
