Wareham Posts Results From Tuesday's State Primary

Wareham's town website posted results from Tuesday's state primary election, according to a notice on the town homepage, while Town Hall also flagged a full-day closure next week for the Labor Day holiday and a handful of new department notices.

An "Election Results" notice went up on the town's official website following Tuesday's state primary, a vote the town had earlier promoted through a polling-hours advisory. The results notice does not include vote totals or contested-race breakdowns in the posted summary, but it marks the town's first public accounting since polls closed.

Town offices will close for a full day on Monday, September 7, for the Labor Day holiday, the town announced. Separately, the town flagged two infrastructure and service notices: ADA-focused improvements are planned for the Lillian Gregerman Bandshell, and the town promoted a free ride offer through the Circuit shuttle service. Neither notice included further scope, cost, or timeline detail. The town also posted its 2025 Annual Town Report for residents to review.

Wareham's Conservation Commission is scheduled to meet Wednesday, September 2, with an agenda posted on the town calendar; several other boards on the same date, including the Council on Aging Board, Historic District Commission, and Historical Commission, had their September 2 meetings canceled.
