Planning Board approves extension for Maritime Haven subdivision to April 2028.

Planning Board · Meeting of March 9, 2026

WAREHAM — The Wareham Planning Board unanimously extended the Maritime Haven residential subdivision permit to April 1, 2028, as applicants have not yet started construction on the project originally approved in 2022. Attorney Thomas Gay and agent Louis Calcagni presented a phased construction plan; Member Carl Schulz requested bond restructuring to align with the phases and sought a detailed line-item road cost estimate. The board also unanimously approved a solar site plan review for 370 County Road, subject to findings of fact and conditions within 60 days, with an off-cycle presentation scheduled for April 13.

A residential subdivision at 1031 Pierceville Road received approval with one abstention. Two applications were continued to March 23.
