Sewer board reviews residential billing system overhaul for 6,400 accounts
Sewer Commissioner · Meeting of April 9, 2026
Wareham Sewer Commissioners move to overhaul residential billing system for 6,400 accounts. Vice Chair Robert Scanlan reported progress on redistributing Equivalent Dwelling Units, with 5,800 of the town's 6,400 accounts modeled at 97 percent coverage to address inequities. Technical obstacles from the Town's VADAR system may require an alternative approach, and commercial EDU calculations present far greater challenges.
The Board also heard from Narrows Force Main project engineers that construction borings begin Monday.
