WAREHAM — Select Board unanimously designates three dogs nuisance animals under state law. Chair Sarah Corbitt, Clerk Judith Whiteside, Marcus Gomes, and Joseph Still heard testimony from Animal Control Officer Kelly Jarabek, dog owner Denise Gottwald, her stepson Joseph Lewis, and neighbor Lynne Velozo before imposing six mandatory conditions including secure pen confinement with a roofed enclosure, humanely restrained muzzling when off-premises, liability insurance of at least $100,000, and lifetime identification through microchip or photograph. Gottwald has 30 days to comply and 10 days to appeal.
