Wareham Polls Open Tuesday for State Primary Election

WAREHAM — Wareham voters can cast ballots in person starting Tuesday, September 1, as the state primary opens at every regular polling location from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., the town announced Monday.

The Town Clerk's office confirmed that all of Wareham's regular voting locations will be open for the full 13-hour window on primary day, September 1, giving residents one day to weigh in on the state ballot. The notice, posted to the town's official alert system on Sunday evening, did not list contested races but directed voters to their usual precincts.

Town offices will close again the following week, on Monday, September 7, for the Labor Day holiday, according to the town's alert center.
