Wareham Launches Free Circuit Rideshare Service
WAREHAM — Wareham this week rolled out a free rideshare option through the Circuit service, town officials announced, giving residents a new no-cost way to get around as several town boards prepare to meet later this week.

The town announced a new no-cost transportation option for residents this week, a free rideshare service through Circuit, according to a notice posted to the town's website. Additional details on the program's service area and operating hours were not included in the announcement.
Town Hall also flagged temporarily adjusted hours at the Inspections Office and reminded residents that DOXO, a third-party online bill-payment platform, is not affiliated with the Town of Wareham, according to notices posted on the town site.
SCHOOLS
Wareham Public Schools noted that classes are back in session for the new school year and urged drivers to slow down, particularly in and around school zones, according to a notice on the town's website.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The 18th annual Onset Summer of Love Music Series continues Wednesday, Aug. 26, part of the village's ongoing summer concert schedule, according to the town's events calendar.
The town calendar also lists a kayaking outing at Riverside Beach on Saturday, Aug. 29, offering a family-friendly outdoor program before the summer season winds down.
