Sewer board approves $111,000 vulnerability study with state grant

WAREHAM — Sewer board backs $111,000 state-funded vulnerability study. The Board of Sewer Commissioners unanimously approved a $111,000 Professional Services Agreement with GHD for a Sewer Vulnerability Study due by June 30, 2027, with 90 percent funding from a Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management grant and 10 percent from the Sewer Enterprise Fund. The study will address state environmental comments on the town's Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan and assess vulnerability of proposed sewer areas.
The board also unanimously approved a $150,000 Work Change Directive from Waterline Industries Corp. for the Water Pollution Control Facility upgrade and ratified a previous Change Order #5 from GHD for $106,584.87.
