Sewer Board advances Narrows force main project with July deadline

WAREHAM — Sewer Commissioners reviewed engineering progress on the Narrows Force Main project facing a July 24 SRF application deadline. EDR consultant Russ Kleekamp presented updates on base mapping and geotechnical surveys, with design work continuing on Phases II and III. If selected for SRF funding, Wareham would submit a final application in June 2027, with all plans targeted for completion by June 30, 2027 for bidding.
The board also discussed a Kennedy Lane pump station bypass as a potential resiliency project eligible for grant funding, and advanced a request for proposals for a public information consultant.
