School Committee approves six prior meeting minutes, wage increases, preschool fee hike.

Wareham School Committee clears six-month approval backlog and raises hourly wages. The committee unanimously approved meeting minutes from July through October 2025 after Chair Geoff Swett acknowledged workload delays, then voted unanimously on athletic support increases from $50 to $60 per event and substitute secretary, cafeteria, and custodian wages rising to $17.50 per hour. Superintendent Dr.

D'Andrea successfully moved the panel to increase preschool tuition fifty percent, full-time from $4,000 to $6,000, part-time from $2,000 to $3,000, citing neighboring community comparisons and staffing salary support. The committee also approved two educational research partnerships under Playful Learning initiatives and unanimously accepted donations totaling $1,625 for high school DECA and middle school music programs.
