Wareham School Committee Posts Revised Workshop Meeting Agenda

WAREHAM — The Wareham School Committee posted a revised agenda for Thursday's workshop meeting, one of the few concrete items to surface locally today. The town's cultural calendar also picks up this week with a new library tech program for younger patrons and an outdoor painting session at Bryant Farm Preserve.

TOWN HALL The Wareham Fire District posted an agenda for its Prudential Committee meeting on Thursday, August 20, with its Board of Engineers and the town's Board of Water Commissioners both meeting Monday, August 24. The Recycling Committee has no meeting scheduled for the rest of August.

SCHOOLS The Wareham School Committee released a revised agenda for its workshop meeting Thursday, August 20. The revision comes as the committee continues its regular meeting schedule ahead of the fall opening.

COMMUNITY & ARTS The Wareham Free Library will host Pre-Tween, Tween, Teen Tech Time on Friday, August 21 at 12:30 p.m., a hands-on technology session for younger patrons. Elsewhere, the town's Art in Plein Air program returns Thursday, August 20 at Bryant Farm Preserve, giving local artists a chance to paint outdoors at the conservation property.

COMING UP Kayakers can join Spring into Summer Kayaking at Riverside Beach on Saturday, August 29.
