Wareham Launches Free Ride Program Through Circuit Service

WAREHAM — The Town of Wareham this week announced a new free local ride program through Circuit and posted its 2025 Annual Town Report for public review, giving residents both a new transportation option and a fresh look at municipal operations over the past year.

The town's News Flash service highlighted a "Free Ride with Circuit" program on its homepage this week, though the alert did not detail the service's coverage area, hours, or launch date. Separately, Town Hall posted its 2025 Annual Town Report for residents to review online, part of the town's ongoing effort to keep municipal records and updates accessible to the public.

Wareham Public Schools posted a revised agenda for a School Committee Workshop Meeting set for Thursday, August 20.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Wareham Free Library's Mystery Book Club meets Tuesday, August 18, at 6 p.m. to discuss Alafair Burke's "Find Me." The library is also hosting a Story Walk titled "Ice Cream Summer," based on the book by Peter Sis, and will hold a Pre-Tween, Tween, Teen Tech Time program Friday, August 21, at 12:30 p.m.

Outdoors, an "Art in Plein Air" event is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, at Bryant Farm Preserve, and a 25th Anniversary Walk at Fearing Hill is planned for Saturday, August 22.
