Wareham Board of Health Closes East Boulevard Beach
The Wareham Board of Health has ordered East Boulevard Beach closed, according to a notice posted on the town's website Wednesday evening, pulling one of the town's public swimming spots out of use with no reopening date given.
TOWN HALL
The Board of Health's closure notice, posted to the town homepage, gives no timeline for when East Boulevard Beach might reopen to swimmers. The town continues to point residents to its Alert Wareham subscription service for updates on this and other closures.
The town's calendar also shows a cluster of board meetings set for Monday, August 24, including the Wareham Fire District Board of Engineers, the Board of Water Commissioners, the Community Events Committee, and the Planning Board, all posting agendas ahead of next week.
