Select Board approves licenses and donates to Council on Aging kitchen

Wareham Select Board unanimously approves licenses and capital-project updates. Chair Judith Whiteside and four board members approved four food and beverage licenses on January 20, including annual permits for Simply Smith's Catering & Event Planning (The Deli at Onset Bay), Tropical Smoothie Café, Ms. Lisa's New Orleans Cuisine LLC, and El Mariachi, and accepted a $1,371.14 donation from the Friends of the Wareham Council on Aging for kitchen-equipment replacement.
Town Administrator Derek Sullivan reported receipt of a $250,000 grant for Onset Bandshell accessibility upgrades and announced a $2.5 million Library HVAC replacement project ready for bid, along with $642,200 in new grant funding for Parker Mills Dam removal and engineering.
