Library Book Sale Set for August 20 Through 22

The Wareham Free Library heads into a busy stretch this week, anchored by the Friends of the Wareham Free Library's annual book sale running Thursday through Saturday. The sale bookends a run of library programming and two town board meetings set for later in the week.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Friends of the Wareham Free Library will hold its annual book sale Thursday, August 20, through Saturday, August 22, at the library on Marion Road, with proceeds supporting library programs. Ahead of the sale, the library's Mystery Book Club meets Tuesday, August 18, at 6 p.m. to discuss "Find Me" by Alafair Burke, and the library's Pre-Tween, Tween and Teen Tech Time program runs Friday, August 21, at 12:30 p.m.

Elsewhere in town, the 18th Annual Onset Summer of Love Music Series continues Wednesday, August 19, with another date set for August 26. The Wareham Land Trust has an Art in Plein Air session planned for Bryant Farm Preserve on Thursday, August 20, and a 25th Anniversary Walk at Fearing Hill is scheduled for Saturday, August 22.

COMING UP

The Select Board meets Tuesday, August 18, the same day the SRPEDD Metropolitan Planning Meeting is scheduled. The Board of Health and the Conservation Commission both meet Wednesday, August 19.
