WAREHAM — Zoning Board approves variances and permits for three projects, continues two to March. The board unanimously granted special permits and variances for residential work at 9 Nimrod Way (reducing floor area ratio to 34.1 percent, though Member Richard Semple abstained on the variance) and 16 Wareham Avenue (reducing building coverage to 24.4 percent and floor area ratio to 28 percent based on revised plans dated February 2, 2026). An accessory dwelling unit at 10 Ash Street received unanimous approval with a condition restricting short-term rental use.
The 17 Atlantic Avenue project and David Andrade's 307 Onset Avenue duplex proposal were continued to March 11 for design modifications and ongoing neighborhood negotiations. Chair Nazih Elkallassi recused himself from votes on three applications.
