Wareham Redevelopment Authority approves Red Sox yearbook ad.

Redevelopment Authority · Meeting of January 8, 2026

Wareham Redevelopment Authority approves Red Sox yearbook ad placement. Director of Planning Joshua Faherty received authorization to contract for a full-page physical and digital advertisement in the Boston Red Sox Official 2026 Yearbook for economic development and Main Street revitalization, with the motion passing 5–0–0. The board also approved a 5–0–0 vote to increase Faherty's unilateral contract authority from the current threshold to $10,000, with ability to amend prices to $15,000 total, provided he reports procurements at subsequent meetings.

Members deferred a Downtown Dollars accounting update and agreed the program needs better promotion and local business engagement.
