Sewer Board approves three contracts and ratifies prior votes

Sewer Commissioner · Meeting of January 22, 2026

Wareham sewer board approves three service contracts amid warrant-article rework. Chair Jim Giberti and the Board of Sewer Commissioners unanimously approved contracts with Knowles Enterprises LLC for operator services at $150 per hour and emergency repairs at $150 per hour, each running through January 31, 2027. A third contract with Weston & Sampson CMR, Inc. for emergency repairs passed 4-1, with Dr.

Scott Soby opposed over concerns the board had insufficient advance review time. The board also ratified two prior votes on a GHD flow-management proposal and a Moveer camera truck, and agreed to transfer $1 million from Retained Earnings to the Capital Stabilization Fund, while reconsidering a $6 million force-main article no longer needed for the Narrows Project.
