Wareham's Recycling Committee unanimously approved prior minutes and fielded outreach on a spring cleanup. Cassandra Williams, representing Keep MA Beautiful, sought committee assistance with an April 11 event aimed at reducing litter and beautification. Amanda Cobb reported no major financial changes but said she would meet with accounting before the next meeting and explore options for disposing of deteriorated books from the shed.
Chair Jennifer Gady reported the committee is on track to meet its Trex challenge goal of 250 pounds of plastic bags this week, with a prize drawing March 31. Two sheds awarded by grant must be obtained by the end of April.
