Recycling Committee approves paint shed opening, reviews grant balances.

Wareham's Recycling Committee unanimously approved opening the paint shed on May 2 and reported $19,035.97 in its revolving account as of March 1, with three active grants totaling over $15,700 in remaining funds. Committee member Amanda Cobb reported the 2025 Grant has $11,000 designated for two new sheds to be completed in coming weeks. The committee confirmed bottle deposit collections are up, scheduled sharps pickup for later in the week, and noted the TV shed requires emptying.
Bulky and rigid plastic collection will be scheduled for late May or early June, and Ms. Cobb is exploring a shred event and Styrofoam transport options.
