Francis E. Rice, 72, of Wareham, died on June 26, 2026. He was born on March 13, 1954, in Franklin, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Gail Rice (Grassey), of Wareham; his daughters, Christina Rive Ivers (Evan Bridges) of Falmouth and Diana Rice (Sarah Lavin Rice) of Spencer; his siblings, Michael Rice of Douglas, Kevin Rice of New Bedford, Mark Rice of Scottsdale, AZ, Matthew Rice of Hudson, and Leslieanne Rice Cooper of Marong; his grandchildren, Anna, Emma Ivers, Hayley, Chloe, Jacob Bridges, Evan, Ryan Rice, Alexander Shvayko, Roman, and Auston Harrington; and his aunt, Donna Carifio. He was predeceased by his parents, Dr. Francis E. Rice Jr. and Rita Rice (Paivo). Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy, Wareham, MA 02571; a prayer service will follow at 6:00 PM at the same location.
