Library Board Approves December Minutes, Plans 35th Anniversary Event

Wareham Library Trustees approved December minutes and detailed the May 6 35th-anniversary celebration. The four-member board unanimously backed the minutes on Frederickson's motion. Director Patrick Marshall reported heating and plumbing maintenance issues in January and the closure on January 26 for snow.
The May 6 event, running 6:30 to 8 p.m., will feature Senator Kelly Dooner and local leaders, with invitations to go out by end of March and a commemorative bookmark contest underway. A Finance Committee meeting to review the FY27 budget is set for February 12.
