District hires lawyer to handle dissolution of refuse facility.

WAREHAM — Carver-Marion-Wareham Regional Refuse Disposal District Committee unanimously hired MTC Law with Attorney Elizabeth Lydon to handle dissolution and sale of Route 28 Transfer Station. The Committee, meeting via Zoom with five of six members present, also approved January bills of $975.08 and payroll of $2,194.21, per Executive Director Jeffrey Osuch. The District's portfolio stands at $1,136,250.58 as of January 31, 2026, including Eastern Bank holdings and PARS/OPEB reserves totaling $216,520.77.
