Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 18, 2026

WAREHAM — Conservation Commission approves residential demolition, continues marina review pending monitoring plan. The commission voted 6-0 to approve Alexander Estes's plan to demolish and replace a three-season porch at 6 Eldridge Court in the Riverfront Area and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage. Safe Harbor Marina's major redevelopment at 3 Green Street, presented by Attorney Steve Guard and General Manager Jackie Melo, was continued to March 18, 2026, after residents including Timothy Bigelow and Chelsea Watson-Donellen raised concerns about past violations, drainage problems, and environmental compliance; the commission will require a 20-year maintenance bond and Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act review.

The commission also voted 5-1 to approve a Town of Wareham sidewalk project at 186 Onset Avenue with tree replacement and beach plum plantings.
