Community Preservation Committee approves four articles for spring town meeting.

WAREHAM — The Wareham Community Preservation Committee unanimously advanced four articles to spring and special spring town meetings, including $300,000 for Cranberry Manor Phase II senior affordable housing and $700,000 for Beaverdam Creek conservation and recreation land totaling 98 acres. The committee, led by Treasurer Sandy Slavin, also voted to return $33,800 from Damien's Pantry and $6,720 from the Sawyer property fund. Additionally, the committee approved $121,200 from the town budget for interest and principal on Little Harbor Golf Course debt in FY 2027.
FY 2027 Community Preservation Fund Reserves include $75,000 for administrative expenses and $150,000 each for Open Space, Historical Preservation, and Affordable Housing.
