Community Events Committee approves grants, rejects Brunelle applications

WAREHAM — Community Events Committee approves four grant and reimbursement requests totaling $6,633.82. Secretary/Treasurer Nicole Miceli reported the committee's account balance at $124,819.73. Members unanimously approved a $4,000 grant to the Ashley Faye Foundation and a $2,500 grant to the Wareham Minutemen and Militia, along with reimbursements of $1,575.55 to Keep Wareham Beautiful and $158.27 to the Friends of the Council on Aging.
Two separate $2,500 applications from Lorna Brunelle for Sip and Stroll events were defeated 1–2 each.
