WAREHAM — Community Events Committee approves $21,910 in funding across multiple organizations. Chair Sarah Corbitt and members Nicole Miceli, Anastatia Andrade, and Indiana Troupe voted unanimously to fund Friends of the Wareham Free Library advertising ($7,775), Veterans Day Memorial Day observance ($4,290), and Keep Wareham Beautiful ($4,575), among 13 other allocations. The committee declined Harborfest and Harvest Fest's application and a $1,080 reimbursement request for Friends of the Council on Aging Beacon newsletter mailing (3-1 vote).
Treasurer Miceli reported $124,819.73 in available funds. A $1,260 reimbursement request from Friends of the Wareham Free Library was tabled. The committee also voted unanimously to move a proposed Community Events Reconfiguration bylaw to the October Town Meeting.
