WAREHAM — Board of Assessors approves lien release and abates 23 property tax applications. The board, led by Chairman Steven F. Curry with members David Halberstadt and Priscilla Porter present, voted unanimously to release a lien on Cromesett Road property.
In executive session discussion of abatement applications under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 59, the board voted 3-0 to abate Real Estate applications 2 and 3 and voted 3-0 to abate Personal Property applications 1 through 21. Director Jacqui Nichols reported that Real Estate Tax bills have been distributed and the office is receiving abatement applications for both property categories.
