WAREHAM — The Alternative Energy Committee voted to disband as an official town body and transition to an informal citizen group. Chair Denise Wolk and members Linda Burke, Michael Pol, Dennis Wilson, and Sherry Quirk cited constraints in working within town government structures and reached consensus that flexibility required moving outside the official committee framework. The group drafted a letter to the Select Board requesting disbandment while remaining available as a resource, and agreed members would continue discussing alternative energy as private citizens.
